Get PinPoint Store Locator up and running on your Shopify store in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Install from Shopify App Store

  1. Visit the Shopify App Store
  2. Search for "PinPoint Store Locator"
  3. Click Add app
  4. Review the permissions and click Install app
Permissions ExplainedPinPoint requests access to your products (to enable product-store associations) and theme files (to display the store locator on your storefront). We never modify your products or access customer data.

Step 2: Choose Your Plan

After installation, you'll be prompted to choose a plan. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial - you won't be charged until the trial ends.

  • Starter ($9.99/mo) - Up to 150 stores, custom fields, import/export
  • Growth ($19.99/mo) - Up to 750 stores, store submissions, analytics
  • Pro ($39.99/mo) - Up to 2,500 stores, API access, remove branding

Step 3: Add PinPoint to Your Theme

PinPoint uses Shopify's Theme App Extensions, which means no code editing required!

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes
  2. Click Edit on your active theme
  3. Navigate to the page where you want the store locator (or create a new page)
  4. Click Add section or Add block
  5. Under "Apps", select PinPoint Store Locator
  6. Click Save
That's it!Your store locator is now live! Visit your storefront to see it in action. The map will automatically display any stores you've added.

Step 4: Add Your Stores

Now that the widget is installed, you need to add your store locations:

  1. Open PinPoint from your Shopify admin (Apps → PinPoint Store Locator)
  2. Click Add Store
  3. Enter your store details (name, address, hours, etc.)
  4. The address will be automatically geocoded to get map coordinates
  5. Click Save

Repeat for each location, or use our bulk import feature to add many stores at once.

Troubleshooting

The store locator doesn't appear on my page

  • Make sure you've saved your theme changes
  • Check that the PinPoint block/section is visible (not hidden)
  • Try refreshing your storefront page
  • Ensure your theme supports App Blocks (most themes do)

My stores don't appear on the map

  • Verify the stores are marked as "Active" in the admin
  • Check that addresses were successfully geocoded (lat/lng should have values)
  • Make sure you haven't exceeded your plan's store limit
