Overview
PinPoint automatically tracks customer interactions with your store locator widget. Use this data to understand:
- How often customers use the store locator
- What locations they search for
- Which stores get the most attention
- How customers engage with store details
Tracked Events

Dashboard Metrics
The analytics dashboard shows key metrics for your selected date range:
Summary Cards
- Total Views: Number of times the widget was loaded
- Total Searches: Number of search queries performed
- Store Clicks: Number of times stores were clicked
- Direction Clicks: Number of "Get Directions" clicks
Top Searched Terms
See what locations customers search for most frequently. Use this to:
- Identify areas with high demand but no stores
- Ensure popular locations have complete store information
- Optimize your store coverage
Most Clicked Stores
See which stores get the most customer attention. High-performing stores may benefit from being marked as Featured.
Activity Over Time
View a chart of daily activity to spot trends and patterns:
- Seasonal spikes in store locator usage
- Day-of-week patterns
- Impact of marketing campaigns

Filter analytics by time period:
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days (default)
- Last 90 days
- Custom range

Privacy
Analytics are collected anonymously:
- No personal information is stored
- Session IDs are random and temporary
- Location data is approximate (not exact positions)
- Data is isolated per shop
